Fall is my favorite season for fuse beads, and this acorn is one of my go-to patterns! The cap up top alternates two shades of brown in a checkerboard to mimic the acorn’s rough texture, while the nut below stays a plain light tan and tapers to a soft point. On the grid, count the two browns carefully square by square — that’s the detail that really gives the pattern its texture. Since the bottom tip is quite thin, lay down ironing paper and work in small circular motions so nothing shifts. Hung from a branch or glued onto a card, this little acorn adds a lovely handmade touch of autumn to your home.
