I’m completely obsessed with this snowflake: with its eight branches and little light-blue tips, it really does look like a real snow crystal caught mid-fall! It’s such a satisfying pattern to make because it’s perfectly symmetrical — once you’ve placed one quarter, you just mirror the same pattern on the other three, which makes it a fun spot-the-pattern project for kids too. Work outward from the center so you don’t lose track of the branches. Since there’s no background to fill in, this one goes together quickly. Once it’s ironed and cooled, punch a small hole near one tip and thread a bit of string through it: hung in a window or on the tree, it catches the light just like real frost.
