I’ve always had a soft spot for poppies: their bright red petals and almost-black center make them instantly recognizable, even in fuse beads! Reading the pattern is easy: each square is one bead, and the color key tells you exactly which shade goes where. I’d suggest starting with the dark center, then placing the four red petals around it working outward, before finishing with the stem and the little leaves. It’s a great beginner pattern that irons up quickly. Once done, this poppy makes a lovely spring or summer decoration, or a cute bookmark to tuck into a garden notebook.
