I love how simple this one is, and it has such a lovely harvest feel to it! Build the ear from the centre out: a row of golden kernels on each side of the stalk, drawing in little by little toward the point at the top — that taper is what gives the ear its shape. Don’t skip the little brown whiskers poking out here and there, they’re what makes wheat instantly recognisable. Down at the bottom, the green stalk finishes with two small, symmetrical leaves. Since the grid is taller than it is wide, grab a rectangular pegboard or two square ones joined together. Once ironed, this golden ear makes a lovely rustic decoration to hang up or tuck into a dried flower bouquet.

Autumn Leaf
A scalloped leaf in warm orange and brown tones, sized for a square pegboard — a cozy nod to fall.
