With its round orange breast, the robin is one of my favorite birds to spot in the garden once the cold weather sets in, so I wanted to turn it into a bead pattern. The grid stays on a small square pegboard: one bead per peg, starting at the head and beak before working down to the body, that is the easiest way to keep track. Workshop tip: iron it gently in small circles so the orange and grey tones stay crisp next to each other. Once finished, this little robin makes a lovely fridge magnet or fits right into an autumn display, perched near a branch or a pot of dried flowers.
