I’m completely smitten with this little hummingbird, perched on its branch and ready to zip off to the next flower. One peg equals one bead, so start with the rounded body and dark green back, then add the white belly, that signature orange throat patch, and finally the thin black beak. The folded blue-grey wing tucks right against the body, no need to bead it separately. Make sure the little brown branch sits centered at the bottom before you iron it, since it anchors the whole design. This intermediate-level piece makes a lovely hanging decoration or a playful fridge magnet to pin up your kids’ best drawings.

Robin
A plump little robin with an orange breast, for a small square pegboard full of character.
