I fell for this upright tulip, with its stem and two little leaves reaching out on each side: it takes a bit more patience because of its height, but it’s still an easy one once you’ve made a few grids. Work through the pattern row by row, starting with the flower at the top before working your way down the stem — one square is one bead, nothing more. I placed a lighter shade at the heart of the flower to break up the solid yellow. Since the grid runs quite tall, make sure to center it well on your square pegboard, turning it diagonally if you need the extra room. Once ironed, it makes a lovely hanging decoration, or you can frame it for a little corner of spring that lasts all year.
