I love this little purple crocus as soon as the warmer days start coming — its pointed petals and bright yellow centre make it instantly recognisable, even on a fairly small board. Start with the purple bloom at the top of the grid, add the yellow centre, then work your way down bead by bead along the green stem to the two small leaves at the base. The stem is thin, so iron it carefully, bead by bead, so it holds up well. Once finished, this crocus makes a lovely decoration propped against a window, or a sweet little splash of colour to give as a gift. One I happily make again every year.

Blue Hydrangea
A pretty blue pompon flower on its stem, made for a square pegboard.
