I’m completely smitten with this chubby little koala, with its big fluffy ears and soft round muzzle! This is one of my favorite patterns for beginners: the shapes are simple, but the result is instantly recognizable, which always feels so rewarding for kids. Reading the pattern is easy: each square on the grid is one fuse bead, and the color key tells you exactly which bead goes where. I recommend a classic square pegboard, and make sure to center the design carefully before ironing so you don’t lose those lovely round ears. Once both sides are fused between two sheets of baking paper, this cuddly koala makes an adorable fridge magnet or a cute decoration to hang near the kids’ desk.
