Ladybugs are pretty much a garden-walk celebrity around here, so of course I turned one into a fuse bead pattern! Reading the grid is simple: one square equals one bead, placed peg by peg on your square pegboard. I’d start with the black outline of the head and that centre line splitting the two wing cases, it gives you your bearings before filling in all that cheerful red. Little studio tip: iron on medium heat with small circular motions so you don’t flatten the beads. Once it’s popped off the board, your ladybug makes the sweetest fridge magnet or a keychain to clip onto a backpack. A classic that never gets old, for kids and grown-ups alike!
