I love the smell of lavender in summer, so I wanted to keep a little bouquet of it in beads, tied with a ribbon just like the ones you hang in a closet. The grid is symmetrical: start with the ribbon at the bottom, then work the green stems upward one by one toward the purple flower spikes, one bead per peg, and the symmetry guides you the whole way. Workshop tip: for a nice sense of depth in the flowers, alternate the dark purple and light lilac beads instead of grouping them in blocks. Once ironed, this soft little bouquet looks lovely as bathroom decor, glued onto a card to give, or hung near a window.
