I drew this one on a morning when I was daydreaming about the seaside! Its round body reads square by square: start with the red of the shell, add the two yellow dots for a little sun-kissed shine, then the claws and legs in burgundy so they stand out from the body. The eyes on their stalks go on last, bead by bead, nicely centred. Since the pattern is symmetrical, work one side then repeat the exact same beads on the other — that’s the trick for a perfectly straight crab. Once ironed, it makes an adorable fridge magnet or slots right into a seaside-themed bedroom display. A beginner pattern, perfect for a first pegboard with the kids!
