All aboard for this cheerful little sailboat! I really like this one because it plays with triangles — the white mainsail and the red jib balance each other nicely, sitting on an orange hull above a row of light blue waves.
My tip for this grid: start with the mast in the center, then build each sail triangle by triangle from the tip outward — it keeps your lines nice and crisp. Once the pattern is done, always iron it between two sheets of parchment paper on low heat, then let it cool under a heavy book before peeling it off the pegboard.
This little sailboat makes a lovely nautical decoration for a bedroom or bathroom shelf, or even hung on the wall. A fun, spirited project for sea lovers of all ages!
