My kids adore this one: a nice plump bee with bold black-and-yellow stripes and pale blue wings sitting just outside the body on each side. The grid is simple to follow, one square, one bead: start with the body in the middle, add the wings that peek out past the edges, then finish with the two antennae straight up top, bead by bead so they hold together when ironed. A tip from this fuse-bead mom: iron the body and the wings in short bursts if your pegboard is small, so the thin antenna tips don’t lift off. Once it’s done, this little bee makes a sweet fridge magnet or hangs above the kids’ desk to brighten up homework time.
