A little windmill to continue our bead-sized tour of Europe! With its pointed brick-red roof, four grey sails crossing in an X, and a cream-colored tower standing in the grass, this design has all the charm of a postcard windmill.

Start with the roof at the top of the grid, shaping the pointed triangle carefully, then add the four sails crossing at the center, right where they meet the tower — that’s the trickiest part, so take it square by square. The tower then fills in easily from top to bottom, widening slightly as it goes, with two small blue windows and a brown door at the base, before closing things off with the green grass band at the bottom.

Once ironed, this windmill makes a charming shelf decoration, on its own or alongside other buildings from the collection, for a little fuse bead village!
