With World Cup season just around the corner, I couldn’t resist beading this classic football! Its black centre pentagon and five points radiating out to the edge recreate that familiar ball pattern beautifully against a crisp white background. Since the shape is round, I’d suggest placing the black outline beads first before filling in the middle — it keeps the circle nice and even and avoids any wobbly edges. Thanks to its symmetry, this design is also a great exercise for kids who are learning to read a pattern.
