I always keep this one handy for celebrating a little athlete or a big win at home! The medal is built from concentric circles: lay down the golden outer ring first, then the brown ring for some depth, and finish with the dark star right in the middle. The ribbon reads top to bottom: red on the sides, with a thin white stripe running down the middle of each strap. Keep the left and right sides nicely symmetrical as you build it, that’s what gives it that real-medal feel. Once it’s finished, it makes a lovely little trophy to give away, or a fridge magnet that always finds a home on a champion’s fridge. A beginner project, perfect for a quick hour of beading.
