I wanted something nice and round with clean lines, and this basketball ticks every box! Start by laying down all the orange of the ball, then add the black lines: one vertical, one horizontal, and the two curves on either side that trace the ball’s famous panels. A little peach and white highlight in the top-left corner gives the illusion of shine, as if the light were hitting it — it’s the only spot where the symmetry breaks, the rest of the ball stays perfectly round on both sides. Work from the centre outward to keep a nice even circle. Once ironed, this ball makes a brilliant decoration for a sporty bedroom or a fun magnet to gift a basketball-mad friend.
