The candy apple is THE classic treat from the fair or the holiday market that everyone loves! Here we build it as a nice full circle, with a white shine in the upper-left corner and a darker shaded patch in the lower-right to give it that glossy, coated look. The brown stick sits straight underneath, right in the center. Lea’s tip: lay down the bright red base circle first, then add the shine and shadow on top of it — it’s much easier than working out every shade from the start. A perfect beginner pattern that turns into a sweet little fridge magnet.

Steaming Cup of Tea
A pink teacup on its saucer, with a little steam rising — my workshop's favorite tea-party pattern.
