Hi there! For a change from pumpkins and co., today I’m sharing something simple and wonderfully effective: a pink tulip on its green stem. On the grid, one square equals one bead; keep the flower cup symmetrical on both sides of the stem, that’s what gives it its lovely shape once ironed. The little tuft of leaves halfway up isn’t strictly necessary, but it adds a nice natural touch to the design. A classic square pegboard is all you need for this size, and a gentle iron will keep the shades of pink crisp and distinct. This design makes an adorable spring decoration to hang in a window, or a sweet handmade card for Mother’s Day. A real pleasure to make as a family.
