Here is a rose I love making whenever I want a splash of color on my craft table! The bloom is built from three nested circles, from bright red on the outside down to deep burgundy at the center, creating the illusion of folded petals. My tip: place the darkest circle first in the middle, then work outward, it keeps the round shape nice and clean. The slim stem and two green leaves balance the design and give it a natural charm. A classic square pegboard is all you need for this one. Once ironed, this rose makes a lovely hanging decoration, or a sweet bookmark once mounted on a small backing. A perfect little gift for Valentine’s Day or simply to brighten up a shelf!

Sunflower
A tall sunflower to bead on a square pegboard, with its brown heart and golden petals.
