I’m completely smitten with this little otter floating peacefully on its back, pebble tucked snugly between its front paws. It’s one of my favourite poses to turn into fuse beads, because it’s instantly recognisable! Reading the grid couldn’t be simpler: each dot is one bead, and the little grey pebble sits right in the middle of the cream belly. I’d suggest a classic square pegboard, and keep a close eye on the symmetry while ironing, or your otter will end up looking a bit lopsided! Once it’s cooled and popped off the board, it makes an adorable fridge magnet or a sweet little decoration to hang anywhere you like. It’s a perfect beginner project for a creative afternoon with the kids, done in well under an hour.
