Who doesn’t love a warm waffle? I wanted to turn its famous grid pattern into a fuse bead design! On this grid, each square stands for one bead: start with the brown lines that form the lattice, then fill in the little golden squares in between. The small pat of butter in the centre, in yellow, adds a tasty touch and nicely breaks up the repeating pattern. This is a very satisfying design to make because it builds on repetition: once you’ve got the hang of it, the rows just flow on their own. Once ironed on both sides, your waffle makes a fun coaster or a magnet that’s guaranteed to make you hungry! A beginner-friendly project, perfect for practising counting your beads.
