This one was inspired by the flowering ponds I love watching in summer. At the center sits an eight-petaled pink flower with a golden heart; around it, a big round leaf with its telltale notch, the whole thing floating on blue water that fills the entire grid. One square, one bead, just follow the pattern closely to keep the leaf’s edge nice and crisp. It’s a beginner-friendly design, great for practicing big solid blocks of color while keeping the flower centered. Once ironed, this water lily makes a sweet fridge magnet or a little decoration to hang near a window, for a bit of summer all year round.

Autumn Hazelnut
A little autumn hazelnut with its leaf, for seasonal-coloured decor.
