Today is a bit of a grab-bag over here, and I love that! Between a round little panda, a chilly penguin, a graphic checkerboard heart and a little acorn picked up under the oak trees, my four new patterns today don’t really share a theme, other than making you want to pull out your pegboards. And since we’re now a few hundred patterns strong, I also pulled a few catalog favorites back into the spotlight.

Today’s 4 new patterns

The panda and the penguin showed up with their crisp black and white, great practice for clean, solid color blocks. The checkerboard heart is perfect if you want to try alternating two colors without losing track. And the acorn closes out the set on an autumn note, with a little textured cap I had fun detailing bead by bead.

A few catalog favorites

I couldn’t resist pulling a few patterns I especially love back into the light. The autumn chestnut and the pinecone pair beautifully with today’s acorn for a lovely seasonal display, while the squirrel and its hazelnut add a perfect little animal touch. The owl, the little fox and the little bear, meanwhile, grow the little menagerie we’re building up alongside the panda and the penguin.

More autumn inspiration

If you’re in the mood for a full autumn display, I wrote a whole piece on that: autumn in fuse beads, with more than ten cozy patterns to make with the kids. And if the little menagerie is more your thing, I also have a full article on safari animals in fuse beads, to keep riding the panda’s momentum.

As always, every pattern here is sized for a standard square pegboard: level, bead count and color list are all calculated straight from the grid, so there are no surprises when you go to stock up. Happy beading, see you soon for more new patterns!
