With Halloween just around the corner, I wanted a pattern with a bit of mystery to add to your decorations: meet my black crow, perched calmly on its branch. On the grid, each square is one bead: start with the black silhouette of the body, then add the yellow beak and the little white eye that give it real character. Place the brown branch last, to properly ground your crow.
Ironing tip: work one colour zone at a time, and slip a fairly thick sheet under the iron so the beads stay put. Once finished, this crow makes a fun fridge magnet or fits right into a garland for a spot-on Halloween mood — a fun one to make with your kids or friends on a crafty evening.
