For Halloween I wanted a friendly skeleton rather than a scary one, set against a purple night background sprinkled with little stars. The grid is fully covered in beads, background included, so iron it in one go, it holds together beautifully and the white-on-purple contrast makes the ribcage really easy to read. Workshop tip: work the skull first, it is the part that needs the most care with the eye sockets and tiny nose, the rest follows row by row on its own. Hung in a window or glued onto a treat bag, this little skeleton makes an easy Halloween decoration, even for a first project on a full colored background.
