With the back-to-school routine fully back in swing and Wednesday afternoons freeing up again, it’s officially fuse bead season around here! I wanted to share a little round-up of what’s new at the studio: four patterns fresh off the pegboard, alongside a few long-time favourites from the catalogue that keep getting requested. Plenty of inspiration for your next craft session, or just a nice wishlist before the next school break. I tried to mix things up on purpose: a little sweetness, a little garden, a little geometry and a little floral, so there’s something for everyone at home.
Sweet treats (zero calories included)
Let’s start gently with the patterns that make everyone hungry! I had a real soft spot for this new two-scoop ice cream, vanilla and strawberry, perched on a waffle cone and topped with a little cherry. It joins the round little cupcake and the juicy strawberry already in the catalogue, perfect for a cute set of kitchen magnets or a sweet little garland over the counter. Three beginner-friendly patterns, and plenty of room to swap in your own favourite colours.

Cupcake
A sweet three-tier frosting swirl topped with a cherry — a fun kitchen decoration in fuse beads.

Strawberry
A juicy red strawberry, perfect for a pretend-play fuse bead kitchen.
Garden friends
I never get tired of these: garden critters and animals are always a hit at craft time, with kids and grown-ups alike. The brand new ladybug joins the round little hedgehog and the red fox, two of our most requested patterns since they launched. Enough to build a whole little menagerie of fridge magnets, or window decorations to welcome the autumn light. They’re also great starter patterns: few colours, an easy silhouette to spot on the grid, and a result that looks great from the very first try.

Red Fox
A bright orange fox face made of bold triangles, easy to follow and full of character.
Graphic patterns for symmetry fans
For a change from animals and flowers, I wanted to share something more graphic: this blue, white and grey diamond mosaic, a great way to practise bead counting and symmetry across a full pegboard. It pairs beautifully with the checkerboard heart and the sparkling star, two catalogue staples for a more geometric look at home.
Graphic Decor

Sparkling Star
A big golden star with a white glint and three little shooting stars scattered around it.
A floral touch
We’re ending on a soft note with flowers: the rounded mauve tulip joins the sunflower and the pink flower, three patterns perfect as window decor or a cute bookmark once laminated. They’re also a lovely way to practise simple symmetry on the grid, with a centre stem and petals mirrored on each side. If flowers are your thing, I put together a whole article on autumn flowers a few weeks back, well worth a look to round out your collection.

Happy beading, and feel free to show me what you make!
