Three bold stripes — white, orange, and yellow — make candy corn one of my favorite Halloween patterns: quick to read, impossible to mess up, and it looks fantastic the second you hang it by the door. On the grid, each square is one bead, so I like working bottom to top: start with the yellow base, then the orange middle, then finish with the white tip — no second-guessing which shade goes where.
The black background isn’t mandatory if you’re low on that color; it just makes the stripes pop, and plain white works beautifully too. Once ironed, this little piece makes a perfect fridge magnet or a cheerful hanger for a window. Make a few and string them into a simple garland!
